A Phased Exploration DRC Cu-Co Project

Minrom was contracted to evaluate the Cu-Co potential of a project near Kolwezi in the DRC’s Lualaba Province, starting from historical exploration data. Five phases — gap analysis, geological modelling, twin drilling, metallurgical testwork and 4 844 m of oxide and sulphide diamond drilling — delivered an updated Inferred Resource with a 44% tonnage increase at 1.67% Cu and 0.23% Co.
Developing a Mine Work Program for a Manganese mine in the Northern Cape

Minrom developed a Mining Work Programme for a Northern Cape manganese mine using RC drilling, resource delineation, grade analysis, and dolomitic dilution risk assessment.
Technical Due Diligence for a Copper-Cobalt Deposit in the DRC

Minrom Consulting conducted a technical due diligence audit for a copper-cobalt mining operation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to validate mineral resource data against NI 43-101 reporting standards. The project involved geological model verification, grade re-estimation, and data validation to improve resource confidence, identify estimation issues, and support stronger long-term mineral resource management.
Gold In Zambia – Minrom Unlocks the Potential

A geological exploration project conducted by Minrom to assess the gold potential of two specific sites in Zambia. This project summary highlights the transition from initial geological reviews to the scientific verification of precious metal resources in the region.
Haut-Katanga Copper

By integrating historical data with a new 3D geological model, the report evaluates the project’s mineral potential could be outlined the strategic roadmap for future development could be crafted.
Uganda Case Study

Located in north-eastern Uganda, the Uganda Graphite Project focuses on developing a significant deposit of jumbo-flake graphite. Originally identified in the 1960s, the site has undergone extensive modern exploration since 2014, including aerial surveys, trenching, and multiple drilling phases. The local geology is defined by metamorphosed carbonaceous shales within the West Karamoja Group, which was shaped by ancient tectonic activity.
Limpopo Limestone Project

Minrom supported an existing lime mining operation within the Limpopo Province of South Africa by investigating the lime resource base, developing geological models and describing the mineralisation potential within the Mining Rights Area.
Namibian Iron Ore Deposits

Minrom Consulting was contracted to produce an independent Competent Persons Report (CPR) for a prominent iron ore project in Namibia.
Mozambique Graphite and Gold Mineralisation

Minrom Consulting performed a non-invasive exploration programme in Mozambique’s Cabo Delgado Province, investigating graphite and gold mineralisation.
Northern Cape Manganese Mine

Minrom Consulting was contracted by a manganese mine in the Northern Cape to scope, plan and execute a Mine Works Programme. Geologically, the project is situated within the Maremane Dome which is mainly comprised of dolomitic units of the Campbellrand Subgroup. The western edge of the Maremane Dome is overlain by the Gamagara quartzites and […]
